The Giffin Grip Mini
For over 40 years, the original Giffin Grip has been celebrated by potters for making trimming pots a joy rather than a burden. All that time, inventor Brian Giffin was listening to feedback, making tweaks to his design and contemplating various ways he could improve his original tool. After years of tinkering and another decade of testing prototypes, Brian began the tedious process of cutting molds for a new and improved Giffin Grip.
Aided by new developments in technology as well as the standardization of bat pins, Brian took advantage of newer computer guided milling machines to refine virtually all aspects of his tool. The final result is what he named the Giffin Grip Mini. While the method of its creation had been digitized, it was built with the same attention to detail as the original (only smaller and packed with lots of cool new features).
